FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Full-Time Position

Department: Yard

Location: Burnaby & North Vancouver

We are looking for a positive, motivated, customer oriented team player to join our Yard Team. Experience in the lumber and building materials industry is an asset but not required.

Principal Responsibilities:

Building customer orders for pick up and delivery
Maintain a section of the yard through organization and general cleanliness
Stock lumber bins and put stock away
Provide exceptional customer service
Having extensive product knowledge of the materials we stock
Loading and unloading inbound trucks

Ideal Profile:

Experience operating a forklift
Punctual, reliable and customer service oriented.
Detail oriented with strong organization skills.
Ability to lift over 35kg repeatedly.
Good communication skills
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Above average math skills
Comfortable and able to work in an outdoor environment daily throughout the year
Moderate exposure to personal risk – safety boots are required.
